L'hébergement / Accommodation

Les iraniens étant particulièrement hospitaliers, l'hébergement peut vite être chez l'habitant ! Cette tradition d'hospitalité se vérifie partout, en ville, à la campagne, au désert, et elle est une source de joie pour le voyageur qui a perdu l'habitude de rencontrer des gens qui font plutôt spontanément confiance !...On n'a pas échappé à la règle, et nous avons été accueilli de très nombreuses fois, sans aucun problème.

En ce qui concerne les "Accommodations", il en existe une large variété : les hôtels cinq étoiles sont relativement rares et de notre point de vue, ils ne sont pas aux standards internationaux, même si depuis deux ans on note une nette amélioration. Ils remontent la plupart du temps aux " Années Shah ", donc ils sont vieux ... quand ils sont entretenus : le fameux Hôtel du Shah - " l'Apadana " - situé juste à l'entrée de l'esplanade de Persépolis (quel endroit incroyable !) est totalement abandonné, tristounet, mais il est vrai qu'il reste sans doute très lié au souvenir du Shah, précisément...

Par contre, on trouve beaucoup de bons hôtels disons "moyenne gamme", à la fois propres, pas chers, bien situés et à proximité des sites, et où vous pourrez tenter de négocier... Dans cette catégorie, il y a l'hôtel "moderne", il y a l'hôtel "traditionnel" qui n'est pas sans attrait (type caravanserail, mais attention, les prix sont souvent pour le coup très élevés, en fait ils appliquent des prix parisiens...!) : une petite cour intérieure, des pièces creusées, des fontaines, des chambres joliment meublées ; et enfin des 'appartments hotel", pour nous sans âme, mais pratiques.

Les toilettes peuvent surprendre et sont souvent à la turc. Parfois les deux types de toilettes cohabitent (turc et occidental), et il y a un jet d'eau à la place du papier toilette. Pour ceux qui seraient inquiet..., on vous dit quand même qu'il y a aussi du papier toilette !

A l'arrivée, on nous prend notre passeport mais on peut utilement demander à la réception de réserver l'hôtel suivant (ils le font sans problème et gratuitement) ou réserver un vol, un billet de train, de bus, un taxi, un guide, etc... On peut aussi changer de l'argent, en déposer au coffre, acheter des souvenirs : bref, l'hôtel en Iran est un plaisir ! et rend de gros services.

Attention : durant les fêtes de Norouz (mars), les hôtels peuvent vite être complets (comme il peut être plus difficile d'obtenir un billet d'avion ou de bus). Prévoir un délai de réservation.

They go mostly to "Shah Years", so they are old ... when they are maintained: the famous Hotel Shah - "Apadana" - located right at the entrance to the esplanade of Persepolis (what amazing place!) is totally abandoned, sad, but it is true that there is very probably linked to the memory of the Shah, specifically ...

By cons, there are many good hotels say "mid-range", both clean, cheap, well located and close to the sites, where you can try to negotiate ... In this category, there is the "modern" hotel, there is the hotel "traditional" not unattractive (caravanserai type, but beware, the prices are often very high for the blow, in fact they apply ... Paris prices!) : a small courtyard, dug rooms, fountains, brightly furnished rooms; and finally 'hotel apartments "for us without a soul, but practical.

The toilet can surprise and often to Turkish. Sometimes both types of toilets coexist (Turkish and Western), and there was a stream of water instead of toilet paper. For those who are worried ... it says you still there also toilet paper!

On arrival, it takes our passports but it is useful to ask the front desk for the following hotel (they do it without problem and free) or book a flight, a train ticket, bus, taxi, guide, etc ... We can also change money in the safe deposit, buy souvenirs: in short, the hotel in Iran is fun! and makes wholesale services.
